Summary of Job Duties:This position is in El Dorado, Arkansas.
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the residency/fellowship program and contribute to the success of the program through support of the program director in accreditation efforts, educational programming, and support of residents. The program coordinator is a member of the program’s leadership team and, as such, has a unique knowledge of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and program-specific requirements, policies, and procedures. The program coordinator serves as a liaison between the program and trainees, faculty, staff, hospital administration, as well as internal and external departments.Qualifications:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities are common to all GME Program Coordinators. Additional responsibilities may be delineated by UAMS and/or the accrediting organizations.
Collaborates with the Program Director to ensure that the program meets or exceeds all accreditation requirements.
Provides administrative supervision and support to residents/fellows.
Manages program activities related to resident selection and onboarding.
