Position Highlights | The University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research, and education. The UACC has recently been re-designated as a National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center. The UACC is the only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center headquartered in the State of Arizona and one of only 53 in the nation.
UACC is looking for a Human Resources Generalist I with a passion for teamwork, higher education, and customer service. This position requires a person with initiative and the ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and complex work environment. The successful candidate will join a team that supports all HR functions of the UACC. You will assist with developing, coordinating, and implementing the University’s human resource strategy so that the team attracts, manages, and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future objectives at the UACC. In coordination with other human resource team members, you will review changes in policies or best practices, discuss upcoming projects and transactions, and areas for process improvement within the human resources department.
