We have a new opening for a Medicaid Billing Specialist. The Medicaid Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the content of clinical notes pertaining to patient care, treatment and services is in compliance with all licensing, DMAS and Joint Commission regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Hours will vary and applicants need to have flexibility with his/her availability.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field preferred
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma and two years previous experience in medical records, coding or billing.

General Requirements:

• • • Must be 21 years of age.
    • Must be detail oriented and possess superior documentation skills;
    • Have an understanding of DMAS regulations as they relate to Psychiatric Residential Services, as well as CMS and Joint Commission regulations.
