The Clerk is responsible for basic Clerical functions including records maintenance, light typing, filing and report preparation. Positions in this role will assist with answering phone calls, scanning documents and carrying paper files to and from the storage facility.

This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 4828 South Pearl, Las Vegas, NV.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Filing claim demographic files for Workman’s Compensation (may include lifting up to 30 lbs.).
• Cross train and work in all processes when needed
• Repetitive movements including: sit, stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladder
• Opening, indexing and distributing mail.
• Scanning Claim documents and attaching them to the appropriate Claim file.
• Assist in answering phone calls.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 10+ years of equivalent working experience
• 1+ year of experience with basic Clerical duties (filing, scanning, drafting and editing documents)
• Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
• Ability to type 45 + WPM.
• Ability to work 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
