The AACSB-accredited Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks Part Time Lecturers in Accounting to teach up to three sections per semester of Accounting undergraduate and graduate courses, effective September 1, 2023.
General Summary of Position. The Lecturer will bring expertise in various areas of Accounting. In addition to documented success teaching in multiple modalities (face to face, blended and fully online) at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the ideal candidate will have the interest and experience needed to enhance the Accounting program through activities such as: collecting data for Assurance of Learning, updating curriculum, adding career development content to courses, collaboration with the business community, and student recruitment/ retention.
The Charlton College of Business is an AACSB-accredited school with 8 undergraduate degree programs, a fast-growing MBA program and a number of specialized Master’s degree programs including one in Accounting and one in Finance (featuring a STEM-approved option in Quantitative Finance). Located on the South Coast of Massachusetts, Dartmouth is near some of the most beautiful coastline in the United States. Dartmouth is also conveniently located near Cape Cod, Providence, Newport, and Boston. New York is a three-hour train ride away.
