Responsibilities
The Data Systems Analyst provides systems administration, data management, and reporting/analytics/dashboard expertise with an emphasis in Finance, Supply Chain, and other administrative applications. Provides planning, design, development, and administrative system services including data-base systems and reporting/analytics/dashboard tools and processes.
Having moderate experience and applies their experience in data/analytics/information management concepts in a university campus and/or medical center environment to resolve issues and/or data needs where analyses of situations, business process, information or data require an evaluation of variable factors.
Ensures the efficient and effective administration of assigned systems and their operations, functions, maintenance, monitoring, testing, and, as appropriate, optimization. Maintains and optimizes systems, data, and processes, as needed. Ensures integrity, accuracy and completeness of reporting/analytics/dashboards and the associated guidelines, governance, standards, documentation and/or services.
This position will provide back-up support for other Data Systems Analysts. Will participate in the evaluation, planning, development, testing, of reporting/analytics of information systems to support implementation and ongoing operations for all components of the associated client operations and application/systems portfolio.
The position may also work on enterprise IT projects associated with Enterprise Applications, Finance, Supply Chain, and other administrative applications.
Effectively utilizes established methods, techniques, and criteria to obtain desired results and/or present information in actionable and meaningful formats. Maintains and optimizes systems and migrates data and systems, as needed.
Technical contributor with a moderate degree of knowledge in the overall field of database and reporting/analytics/dashboards and recognized competencies in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure. Contributes to programs, projects, and operations that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources, functions with a moderate degree of autonomy.

May be required to work outside traditional business hours to meet critical needs of the Innovation Technology Division.
May be required to travel to attend training and/or achieve certification(s) for the supported applications. May be required to work remotely to support the tools, services, systems, and processes of the division.
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
