Job Summary:

The Field Recruiter works to support the Store Operations and Human Resources teams to implement a structured recruiting strategy to maintain a quality applicant pool and meet staffing objectives with qualified hires. The Field Recruiter travels to retail locations in Central and South Texas areas to execute interviews, selection processing, and on-boarding. This role aims at improving retention and career path plan development. The Field Recruiter ensures an exceptional recruiting experience that supports our purpose to “Leave ‘em Better”.

Additional Note: This role is an active field position and will be expected to travel to local Central Texas stores on a regular and frequent basis. A vehicle from the company fleet will be provided for this purpose.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Conduct applicant background and drug screen per company guidelines
• Tracks and provides recruiting metric data
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations/certifications.

Qualifications: Experience, Competencies, and Education

• Education and Experience:
• Proven work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiter
• Knowledge of HR policies and best practices
• Bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
• Competencies:
• Proficient with HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate management systems, social media sites, and external job boards.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
