What You’ll Be Doing
This position is located within the Finance Department and is under the direct supervision of the Business Tax and Delinquent Collections Supervisor with guidance from the Finance Operations Manager. Work involves the discovery, enforcement, and collection of taxes in accordance with State Code and Town Ordinances. This position performs a variety of tax assessment and revenue collection tasks including discovery and enforcement of tax assessments, review and verification of tax filings, and performing voluntary and non-voluntary collection actions. This position is independently responsible for complex tax assessment work.
