The University of Vermont Health Network Hiring for Clinical Care Associate – Hinesburg Job at Hinesburg, VT Full Time

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $4,000. The bonus will be paid out as a $1000 gross pay adjustment following the completion of a successful 90-day orientation; the second installment of $3000 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours) of service in the department hired into. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.

The Clinical Care Associate is an integral part of the care team and a key contributor to delivering high quality care that is compassionate, consistent and reliable for our patients, families and the practices within a medical home. The incumbent is involved in direct patient care under the direction of a provider and performs clinical and administrative health care support services to patients and families according to knowledge, ability, and duties assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required within the first six months from hire.

EXPERIENCE:

At least 1 year of direct patient care experience required. Primary Care experience preferred. Excellent customer service experience needed.
