Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Sr. System Engineer on the Dahlonega Campus. The Senior System Engineer’s mission is to engineer systems that provide innovative, flexible, secure, and dependable University business in a multi-campus environment. Engineers and secures multiple platforms and applications in testing, development and production environments. Identifies areas that can benefit from automated solutions to improve efficiencies. Works to minimize system failures and errors to maximize mean time between failures (MTBF). Proactively researches and implements best cyber security practices to reduce the risk of compromises. Must maintain mobile phone for phone call, SMS, and data communications.
