Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Limited Term Regional Recruiter (Cadet). The Regional Recruiter (Cadet) will recruit new students to UNG’s Corps of Cadets by conducting in-person and virtual high school visits, attending college fairs, and presenting information sessions to prospective students in schools. In collaboration with Director, creates a comprehensive strategy for recruiting in assigned territory. Incumbent will 1) provide accurate and timely information about academic and co-curricular program offerings, services, costs and financial aid to prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and other influencers; 2) expand and develop a network of relationships with JROTC instructors, counselors, coaches, community based UNG alumni, etc. to cultivate long term referral motivated relationships; and (3)expeditiously follow up with all new Corps inquires, applicants, and admitted cadets and their families to ensure they have all the information necessary to make an informed decision. Recruit extensively for students to attend the National Leadership Challenge (NLC) or Cadet Overnight Visit Experience (COVE). Work involves extensive travel l throughout assigned territory with some overnight and weekend work days. Recruitment territory defined by the needs of the program.
