Position Summary:
This position provides immigration advising and case processing support to international students admitted to degree or non-degree academic programs at the University of Georgia. Performance of these duties involves the advisor to use discretion and independent judgment relating to immigration options, case and benefit eligibility and filings, and compliance with federal regulation on the part of both the student and the University. This position may work with J-1 sponsored students, Fulbright students and J-1 student-interns in addition to F-1 students. Full knowledge of University tech systems including but not limited to, e-mail and calendar systems, SAVE, Banner, Sunapsis, and Athena, is preferred.
