Minimum Qualifications:
Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in financial field and/or human resources a plus.
Experience in the recruiting process as both a student and then as a recruiter in a financial field preferred.
Position Summary:
The Finance Career Coordinator reports to and works under the regular direction of the Assistant Director of Corporate Engagement and will work closely with the rest of the USS team. The Finance Career Coordinator serves as a liaison (direct link) between USS and Finance Department (including the Finance Career & Professional Advisor) to manage relationships with employers, students, and alumni involved in internship and full-time recruiting. They also perform a number of data management, special event coordination, and operational roles essential to effective execution of recruiting and alumni relations goals.
