Position Highlights
The University of Arizona BookStores is seeking Retail Inventory Manager to manage the work related to the Receiving and Quality Control processes for the General Merchandise and Course Materials divisions of the Bookstore. The Retail Inventory Manager will plan, develop, manage, and evaluate strategies and operations within a university establishment. They will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operations & Inventory Control and collaborate closely with the accounting department to ensure inventory accuracy.
The Retail Inventory Manager is responsible for providing direct supervision to two full-time staff members who are responsible for the receiving and backstock functions. They will oversee and participate in the day-to-day functions of these areas to ensure that they are operating in compliance with organizational expectations regarding accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
This position will work on-site. This role may also require occasional nights and weekends for events and on-call coverage.
