Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: Under moderate supervision, this position performs customer service and administrative duties with some variety and complexity. Typical duties include servicing customers at the front counter, receiving and screening telephone calls, providing a wide variety of information to customers, compiling data and preparing reports, maintaining permit inventory, and acting as a liaison to other departments.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the area of general office, customer service, or data entry OR completion of post-secondary school training in office administration or secretarial science and one (1) year of experience in the area of general office, customer service, or data entry
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of personal computers and standard application software such as word processing, spreadsheet, or database management programs. Good organizational and customer service skills.
