Department:Medicine | Pathology
Serves as a Medical Report Editor responsible for editing preliminary pathology reports in Epic; processes digital outside consultation reports; reviews reports for accuracy; organizes reports to be delivered to the Histology Laboratory and the Billing Office; assists the Clinical Documentation Manager in decision-making; operates computers and printers to produce documents, correspondence, tables and reports; answers phones; responds to inquiries; operates copier.
Advanced technical or operational experience. Leverages technical and operational knowledge to accomplish objectives. Anticipates, recognizes and solves routine issues that occur within the team, department, or customers without supervisory approval. Provides solutions to unusual or less-frequent issues and questions. Routinely interacts with members of immediate work team and other teams. Communicates matters of escalated importance. Uses diplomacy and tact to convey sensitive information.
