The Department of Communication, located in the School of Liberal Arts, is home to some of the leading scholars in communication whose research has made a difference to the discipline and the public. What we want
We are seeking a Research Associate who will serve with The Network for New Media, Religion and Digital Culture Studies ( see https://digitalreligion.tamu.edu/), housed out of Texas A&M University and directed by Dr. Heidi A Campbell, on its Tech in Churches during Covid-19 project (see https://www.techinchurches.org/). This Research Associate will work directly with the Dr. Campbell on this project, which investigates the ways American churches from a variety of denominations have selected and used digital media during the pandemic and the sociological and theological implications of these choices for congregations. This role is critical to the success of the research project, and one’s skills in organization, time management, research writing, copyediting and knowledge on this and related subjects will be valuable.
