Job Description Summary
The Associate Director-Accreditation supports the MPH program by overseeing the Accreditation landscape. The MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health. Accreditation requirements cover not only the curriculum, but also all aspects of the program. This position is also responsible for teaching the MPH required core course in Public Health Law and Ethics andour Advanced Policy and Law elective.
Job Description
The Associate Director-Accreditation supports the MPH program by overseeing the Accreditation landscape. The MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health. Accreditation requirements cover not only the curriculum, but also all aspects of the program. This position will work closely with the Director to stay up to date on the changing accreditation requirements and ensure that the accreditation standards are being met by the program at all levels. We are specifically looking for someone with legal training and practice experience in public health law, ethics, and policy, so that they can teach our required core course in Public Health Law and Ethics, as well as our Advanced Policy and Law elective.

Targeted Pay Range: $106,000- $110,000
This Targeted Pay Range is only applicable to this job posting. All salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance of accreditation standards for the MPH program, following the criteria set out by the Council on Education in Public Health.
Serve as faculty director for the required course in Public Health Law and Ethics course, leading three sections per year.
Teach one required advanced elective in policy and law, such as Global Reproductive Health, Law and Policy.
Teach one of our required capstone seminars.
Perform additional duties as part of the core faculty, including mentoring new faculty, sitting on the Curriculum Committee and Admissions Committee, and being an academic advisor to up to 15 MPH students per year.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
