Sutton Transport Hiring for IT – Business Process and Automation Analyst Job at Schofield, WI Full Time

At Sutton Transport, Inc. the IT – Business Process and Automation Analyst position will work with a diverse team, across all aspects of our business to help document, analyst, and improve on business processes by leveraging information systems. A large component of this position will be acting as a business/functional analyst to capture requirements and determine how to best optimize various business processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of analyzing business requirements and designing solutions, including self-contained applications, middleware, as well as robotic process automation solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between functional areas of the business and the IT Department
• Requirements gathering, design and assisting in implementation of technical solutions
• Plan, coordinate, document and implement process automation solutions
• Perform analytical, technical, and administrative work to aid in the on-going support of automation solutions
• Collaborating with project team members to test and verify solutions meet business requirements through user acceptance testing
• Identify areas of risk and implement strategic solutions to mitigate risk
• Establish and maintain a partnership with business units to understand business goals and determine opportunities to improve processes and systems leveraging technology

Preferred Technical Skills and Competencies

· Working Knowledge of common RPA solutions including, but not limited to Power Automate.

· Working knowledge of Windows SQL Server/Databases

· Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages, middleware, and API

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of related experience in Business Analysis and/or information Systems Analysis
• BA or BS in IT, IS, Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent degree/experience combination
• Proven track record of process improvement and automation by leveraging technical solutions
• Must have solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills to assist users with questions, problems, communications, and training
• Must work well within a team environment and be results driven
