• SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, 3rd shift, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., every other weekend
• NOTE: This position is categorized as ‘Essential’. Therefore, the incumbent must be available to work during emergency closures and/or delayed openings, due to inclement weather or other significant events that effect the campus operations.

• Work on three 600 horsepower superior boilers that operate 150 lbs. of steam pressure;
• Engage and disengage breakers that feed with 4160 volts;
• Operate a 1200-kilowatt generator during power outages;
• Apply a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge and expertise;
• Operate compressors, pumps, and boilers;
• Perform daily chemical tests on boilers, softeners and condensate return water and adjust chemicals, as necessary;
• Monitor electrical usage and make necessary changes; and
• Respond to calls regarding problems in regulating temperature.
