The Stanford University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics advances the health of infants, children, and adolescents worldwide
through innovative medical care, research, training and advocacy. Ranked among the top in the nation, the Department of Pediatrics attracts
medical students, interns, residents, fellows, and postdoctoral scholars from around the world. The department’s programs offer a range of
training opportunities in general pediatrics, critical care, and pediatric subspecialties-all within a variety of ambulatory, inpatient, and
community settings. Moreover, while teaching the skills required for tomorrow’s physician leaders, our programs challenge trainees to
explore and develop their interests through basic science, clinical and community-based research.

position will be passionate about education, have program and project management experiences, and a desire to collaborate with a dynamic
group of faculty, staff, and trainees on a mission to improve child health.
The Fellowship and Faculty Development Coordinator
position is an exciting new role within the Office of Pediatric Education that will support two dynamic fellowship programs and our Peer
Scholarship Communities faculty development program.
Fellowship programs in the Department of Pediatrics are designed to provide
outstanding training to prepare our fellows to excel as subspecialty clinicians, researchers, teachers, advocates, and become leaders within
the field of pediatrics. The coordinator will support the Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Pediatric Gender Medicine fellowship programs.
Each fellowship program is led by a collaborative faculty leader seeking a staff coordinator who will serve as a partner and collaborator to
support our programs.
The Peer Scholarship Communities faculty development program is designed to support community-building,
scholarship, and career development of our faculty. The program currently consists of peer communities of 8-10 junior faculty in specific
research interest areas, facilitated by experienced senior faculty mentors. The program is seeking a staff partner to the faculty director
to help run this important program for our department.
We are seeking a creative, organized, and skilled fellowship and faculty
development coordinator to facilitate our programs and join our team in the department.
Duties
include:
Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of
what the University reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors
such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental
budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The pay range for this position
working in the California Bay area is between $79,000 to $99,000 based on commensurate experience and
background.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Education
preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or
combination of education and relevant experience.
