Stanford University – School of Medicine – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Financial Manager 1 to manage staff responsible for finance and control functions and manage day to day finance operations for the department. They will manage complex finance functions and/or activities with programmatic impact on the department, requiring professional expertise and application of internal policies and systems and external regulations. They will perform a variety of professional finance and accounting functions involving fiscal interpretation and analysis, reconciliations, and post award activities and diverse set of complex, federal and non-federal sponsored research projects, involving multiple sub-awards, principal investigators, and cross-school initiatives. In addition, this role will work with the Associate Director of Finance on special projects involving ad hoc financial reports and analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and six years relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

WORK STANDARDS:
The expected pay range for this position is $117,000 to $157,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.Additional Information
