The Office of Student Engagement (OSE), an energetic office that supports student organization-produced programs and campus engagement, has an immediate opening for a Communications Designer, reporting to the Senior Director of Student Engagement and collaborating with professional staff and students to develop a strategic integrated communications plan and subsequent materials.
This new position will be responsible for independently managing a wide variety of design and communications projects across a diverse array of platforms including digital communications such as websites, e-newsletters and social media to promote campus programming and student engagement initiatives.
We are looking for a candidate who is a strong writer, with demonstrated photography, videography, web and print design skills, who can easily connect with student organizations and student leaders. The candidate should have demonstrated experience working with institutional brand guidelines.

This role is also open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
The expected pay range for this position is $67,000 – $93,082 per annum.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs. At Stanford University, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
