The Division of Interdisciplinary Brain Sciences (DIBS) in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University is seeking a 1-year fixed term Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (CRCA) at 100% FTE to support multiple studies utilizing imaging technologies. DIBS is dedicated to research that will improve the lives and well-being of individuals with disorders of the brain and improve knowledge of healthy brain and behavioral development. Coordinator responsibilities will include liaising with relevant service providers and community groups for recruitment purposes, screening participants by telephone for inclusion/exclusion criteria, organizing and disseminating preparatory materials, planning trips for participants to visit Stanford, and managing data and database integrity. Responsibilities also include MRI/NIRS data acquisition and conducting behavioral assessments of research participants. Opportunities are available to prepare and co-author scientific manuscripts for publication. This position may occasionally entail work outside peak business hours (e.g., evenings) to accommodate scanning sessions. The CRCA will work closely with project coordinators to track project progress, meet deadlines, anticipate project needs, communicate with project collaborators offsite, and train other staff as needed. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of behavioral principles and experience with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as experience in fNIRS equipment and MRI imaging.

Two-year college degree and two years related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and relevant experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The expected pay range for this position is $56,000 to $78,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
