Purpose of Position:

The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of the organizations sensitive data and supporting IT infrastructure and applications. This role will assist the security department to maintain its governance, risk, and IT compliance programs. This includes managing the enterprise security policy and standards updates, security awareness campaigns, and continually enhancing the enterprise cybersecurity management processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to update and maintain an enterprise security policy and standards including management of exceptions and review processes.
• Provide information security support to business partners, service providers, and project teams on the companys Information Security policy, processes and standards, and regulatory security requirements.
• Improve security by design requirements and risk assessment processes ensuring alignment to applicable regulations, frameworks, and best practices.
• Assist with the maintenance of Information Security risk and compliance artifacts for use in business initiatives and external security inquiries.
• Develop and maintain regular communications with company end users for cybersecurity awareness topics.
• Perform risk-based assessments and processes for third-party risk management, including the assessment and treatment for risks that may result from partners, consultants, and other service providers.
• Provide strategic risk guidance for information technology projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls to meet security policies and standards.
• Ensure that security programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies to minimize or eliminate risk and audit findings.
• Assist with leading, managing, and investigating security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data, and the company’s reputation.
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
• Support and/or maintain disaster recovery and business continuity standards; procedures to align with enterprise business continuity management program goals.
• Facilitate and support metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, and facilitate and support increases in the maturity of the security program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• 5 years plus of experience in information security
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CSA+, CASP+, CEH or other relevant cybersecurity certification preferred
• Experience in the introduction and oversight of security tools and practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), business continuity/disaster recovery, multi-factor authentication, security information and event management (SIEM), and supporting technologies
• Knowledge and experience across IT Infrastructures with security frameworks, standards, and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and CISv8
• Familiarity with PCI and SOX controls and requirements
• Ability to distill complex security threats and risks into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with risk-based testing and/or assessment of an organizations cybersecurity posture, including leading and/or carrying out risk and vulnerability assessments (penetration testing, etc.)

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
