This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days).
JOB SUMMARY
The role administers security solutions supporting anit-virus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), URL Web Filtering, wireless intrusion prevention, and device security. Develops and manages security for more than one IT functional area (e.g., data, systems, network and/or Web) across the enterprise. Assists in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures (e.g., user log-on and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures use of firewalls and encryption routines, and eDiscovery procedures).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Prepares status reports on security matters to help develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
Responsible for the tracking and monitoring of software viruses and solutions; consults necessary workgroups.
Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles; reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions; updates, maintains and documents security controls.
Involved in the evaluation of products and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Provides direct support to customers, business and IT staff for security related issues. Provides support to Legal for eDiscovery related issues.
Educates customers, business and IT staff about security policies and consults on security issues regarding user built/managed systems.
Represents the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all law, compliance and regulatory projects with regard to security issues.
Collects and compiles historical data on system access and generates reports and provides qualitative analysis.
Works cross-functionally to ensure solutions meet the needs of the enterprise.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Required Education
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis and applications configuration across a large (Fortune 500-level) enterprise, database design and administration information security – 5-7
IT administration experience – 2-3
eDiscovery experience required for some positions
Evidence collection, tracking and case management for eDiscovery positions
Log review and analysis
IT or Security Alert Response
Policy compliance tracking, monitoring, and education
