REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree to direct
the Paramedic program and a minimum of an Associate’s degree to direct an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program, from an
accredited institution of higher education. Faculty/Program Directors demonstrate the following qualifications:

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OR LICENSES:
Applicants must hold a current Paramedic Certification within the National
Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (nremt.org) and qualify for an Oregon Paramedic Certification through the Oregon Health Authority.
Paramedic instructors must also be able to earn the level 1 Paramedic and or NFPA Instructors Certificate and hold instructor level
certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
