SIUE Dining Service has great opportunities for driven people who are looking for a fun, unique, and energetic atmosphere. The department is currently accepting applications for multiple full-time, Food Service Station Attendant positions located at various locations across the Edwardsville campus.
The Food Service Attendant prepares and serves beverages and food items as well as conducts other miscellaneous duties in a food service area. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Preparing and serving assorted food products based on area stationed.
-Taking food orders from customers and handling financial transaction (as needed per station).
-Handling requisitions through a supervisor and maintaining adequate supplies.
-Assisting in supervision of cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work area.
As part of the department’s frontline staff, these positions work closely with both our student population and staff, and are expected to provide professional and courteous customer service to all guests. Applicants must be able to work successfully with diverse populations. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned in support of the department’s mission and goals.
Food service positions may include layoff over academic breaks (winter holiday and spring break) and summer term.
