South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Outreach/Admissions Specialist – IGNITE & Black Scholars.
The Outreach/Admissions Specialist reports directly to the Director of K-12 Partnerships in Outreach, Recruitment and Assessment and serves as part of a recruitment and outreach team with a special focus on building relationships with under-served communities. This position assists with providing the first steps for potential students and members of the community in pursuing their educational endeavors. This position will manage the development and implementation of targeted student recruitment and outreach designed to meet the enrollment goals in targeted geographic areas and specific student populations. A flexible working schedule is required as the position will require evening and weekend work. The position reports to the Director of K12 Partnerships Outreach, Recruitment and Assessment but maintains significant collaboration with the Ignite & Black Scholars Program and the Executive Diversity Officer.
