Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices with three-way matching.
• Obtain approval for invoices.
• Code, and prepare invoices for payment using a complex G/L methodology.
• Prepare and perform weekly check runs.
• Work with Operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor accounts payable aging for timely payments.
• Input and reconciliation of credit card transactions.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Act as team player: collaborate, communicate clearly, and cooperate with team members with focus on mission and goals.
• Enhances communications by consistently displaying excellent customer service skills in behavior and attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Microsoft Office including Excel proficiency required.
• Great Plains (or similar ERP system) experience preferred.
• Experience operating standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
• Display exceptional customer service skills.
• Accurately process high volume of vendor invoices.
• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Education: Associate’s degree required.

Experience: We require at least 5 years’ experience of full cycle accounts payable. Experience in a healthcare environment, one utilizing Great Plains (or a comparable ERP accounting system), and use of complex G/L coding system preferred.
