The executive team at Sylvan Learning is looking for multiple credentialed teachers to work 1 on 1 with students 6-12th grade at Vanderheyden Hall in Wynantskill, NY. This will be a morning to early afternoon part-time position for the rest of the 2022-2023 academic year. Applicants should be prepared to work a minimum of 3-4 days each week for 4-6 hours each day. The starting pay rate is $20/hour.

With the exeption of initial training period, applicants shouldn’t expect to attend the Wilton Sylvan Learning Center no more than once per month. Applicants can expect to travel directly to Vanderheyden and communicate often with the executive Sylvan staff by email. Applicants should expect to communicate detailed notes to Sylvan daily in which they will outline the lessons taught and the progress achieved by each student.

The position can expand to a temporary full-time position until August 2023 for the right applicant.
