Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining windows servers and workstations including configuring hardware, applications, services, and storage in accordance with best practices and project/operational requirements.
Installing new software releases, evaluating, and installing patches.
First line investigation, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and problems appropriately.
ERP support for related data development and Working with Executives and Senior Level Management to support existing Microsoft Dynamics GP and SAP Applications and resolve challenges.
Support company users with their use of applications such as Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook. Web Browsers and file shares on cloud and local machines.
Support and maintain internal and external network systems (AD, DNS, DHCP, Network)
Experience with routing and switching concepts and technologies (Cisco Meraki Firewall system)
Strong knowledge in Enterprise Multi-site branch office connectivity through VPN.
Maintain multiple database environments to support development and testing
Monitor database performance and tune database as required
Perform database restores to support development team
Build indexes as required to maintain acceptable level of performance
Perform daily system monitoring, including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes; reviewing system and application logs; and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
Supporting the users of Salespad, Sage50 and adobe PDF related Software.
Maintaining Veeam back Up system.
Qualifications:
A post secondary school diploma or degree in a job‐related field, or equivalent
Minimum 5 or more years of relevant experience in System and Network administration.
Experience in:
Technical roles involving Cisco
Windows Server management.
Experience working in multisite locations includes offices and warehouses through VPN technology and driving.
Delivering professional services including network strategy, design and engineering, implementation, testing, customer training, and on-site support.
Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions such as Active Directory, LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, switches, WIFI technology, Office 365, and cloud solutions.
Experience with SQL Server 2014 is a must and SQL programming Knowledge is preferred.
Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad and Sage50.
As a Production Database administrator.
Strong working level knowledge of IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP), QoS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, DPI, etc.
Fluency in English and French both oral and written
