Salary Range for this position is $72,000/yr. to $77,000/yr.¿

Position Summary¿
The Early Childhood Education (ECE) AAS Program Manager is a full time, exempt position at North Seattle College. The Manager position is responsible for collaborating with campus and district workgroups, industry, and local/state government members to advance certificate and AAS programs and strengthen program outcomes for students. The Manager is responsible for providing student-focused services for the ECE pathway, including managing grant budgets, tracking data, and supporting retention and completion. The ECE AAS Program Manager is also responsible for advising students studying ECE at North Seattle College and satellite programs, coordinating practicum, onboarding, orientation, group advising, and supporting outreach and marketing to prospective students for the ECE programs. The Manager is the second point of contact for college departments and faculty and oversees outreach and communication for North Seattle College and any satellite programs.
This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by AFT-SPS.
This position is typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The schedule may vary depending on program needs. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.

What you will be working on:¿
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
EXTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS
RECRUITMENT AND STUDENT SUCCESS
o Tracks graduation applications and certificate mailings
o Support group advising as needed
o Help prospective students learn about programs, do unofficial transcript evaluations, apply, and register. Includes applications for funding.
o Assist students with transferring credits from previous colleges
o Lead info/application sessions online and in-person
o Assist students with applying to funding (Early Achievers, Workforce Education, Foundation Scholarship, etc)
o Advise current ECE students with education plans, adjustments, and graduation paperwork
o Assist with group advising sessions from 8:30-9:30pm approx. 4 nights/ qtr and 2 Saturday mornings/qtr
o Provide embedded advising/coaching support in select online courses
o Refer students to additional campus support services including financial aid, counseling, tutoring, etc.
o Availability to meet with students at least 2 evenings per week until 6:30pm
o Will advise primarily at North Seattle College (3-4.5 days per week) and additionally at South Seattle College (approx. 0.5-1 days per week)
o Lead Orientation and Group Advising sessions
o Serve as back-up for other advisors
o Assist students with troubleshooting barriers to completion
o Collaborate with other faculty/staff on Early Achievers student advising
o Collaborate with I-BEST and ABE programs to support students
o Complete graduation paperwork and communicate graduation info to students
