HR GENERALIST – SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

Provides HR support to the Louisville Office and Support Functions. A steward of the desired culture, providing professional guidance, administers HR functions such as compliance with employment laws and regulations, policies and programs; maintenance of employment records, hiring and staffing; onboarding; accurate maintenance of HRIS systems; benefits, and training and development.

Administers onboarding for Strategic Functions team members. This includes onboarding steps such as i9, NEA, dayforce set up and other internal systems. Reviews all I9 forms for new hires to ensure accurate completion; follows up with hiring managers and related partners for onboarding as needed. Ensures an overall seamless onboarding process.
• Maintains HRIS systems to ensure team member personal and organizational data is accurate and up to date; maintains and audits employment files to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies/programs; compiles and analyzes data, providing reports and recommendations. Compiles and tracks key HR information. Responds to inquiries from team members for systems, benefits, payroll inquiries and tuition reimbursement processing in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring a high level of customer service. Manages Sazerac LMS including creating materials, course upload, reporting, record maintenance, and communications.
• Leads and conducts new team member orientation for Strategic functions and Sazerac Day One. Develops, coordinates, and communicates orientation schedules. Follows up with new team members on related questions. Partners with Talent Development team for continuous improvement of the orientation program to fully meet needs of new employees and the company. Drives governance for reporting and completion of 90-day onboarding plans.
• Develops and distributes assigned team member communications. Participates in planning, execution and communication of team member activities for strategic functions team. As a steward of the desired culture, assists with administration of culture survey process, analysis of survey responses and preparation of the presentations to communicate results. Provide education regarding Sazerac’s talent development and learning strategy across all functions. Collaborate with identified stakeholders and subject matter experts. Drives the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Continually monitor processes related to assigned responsibilities to reduce process failures, minimize manual work, improve quality of output and reduce time required to execute the process. Assist with creation of process documents and work instructions.
• Compiles and analyzes exit interview information to identify trends and summarize results to address cultural issues. Reports findings and recommends corrective actions. Gather insights and data from team member turnover analysis.
• Maintains data necessary for compliance with human resource related reporting requirements, including EEOC, DOL, ERISA, UI, OSHA, etc. Manages unemployment insurance claims process, including responses to claims. Manages the FMLA process including documentation, communication and compliance with regulations and required timelines. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices
• Use PDS to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes. Drives the adoption of and engagement with the Performance Development System to build skills needed to achieve company vision. Focus on increasing organization strength. Facilitates user experience and professional skills training as needed. Use PDS to develop own skillset.
