NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
What Your Job Will Be Like:
Are you a leader in Knowledge Management, passionate about people and looking for a new challenge? If so, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Knowledge Management to lead Sandia’s Knowledge Management team!
In this role, one will lead the development, execution, and integration of strategy for the knowledge management team. The selected candidate will direct and oversee group operations, policy integration, and matrixed services to mission partners. This position is responsible for the development and effective execution of large-scale company programs and initiatives deployed through human resources.
This position reports to the Center 3200 Director, Strategic Talent Management.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
Collaborate and advise all levels of management within the division and the laboratories on Labs-Level knowledge management strategy, functions, and objectives, including options, solutions, and follow-on execution
Guide decision-making processes, operational assurance, and focus on early detection and resolution of potential strategy, process, integration, and/or operational issues
Develop and lead short and long-term objectives and tactical and strategic plans for complex HR activities that often require partnership across the laboratories
Create and foster trust-based internal partner relations and exceed expectations
Work closely with key program and policy staff to understand Sandia’s priorities and messages, as well as implement effective strategies, and activities to ensure knowledge transfer
Provide strategic direction, align human resources functional priorities with Sandia’s strategic objectives, encourage boundary breaking, and drive innovation and change to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute programs and initiatives that maximize the employee experience
Support the Director, Strategic Talent Management, in creating and aligning Labs wide workforce and HR strategy and associated objectives with Sandia’s strategic plan and customers
Lead six managers and ~100 staff, including hiring, professional development, assessment, and performance management, and demonstrate a knowledge of managing matrixed staff who are embedded with their internal partners
The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.
Qualifications We Require:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a relevant field, plus 10 years related experience; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership and/or managerial experience
The ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance
Qualifications We Desire:
A Master’s degree in a above, plus 10 years related experience

Security Clearance:

Salary Range:
$142,600 – $242,300
