Sr Budget and Procurement Analyst (Information Technology) – Central Campus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Ability, sensitivity and discretion to work with highly confidential information.
*Knowledge of Business English, record keeping techniques and requirements.
*Familiar with accounting and financial principles and practices
*Knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes, and IT service delivery.
*Demonstrable knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office, exceptional Excel skills.
*Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
*Provide an excellent quality of work with little or no supervision required.
*Must be highly organized, detail orientated and possess excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
*Ability and willingness to learn new software, processes and procedures.
*Ability and willingness to learn, apply and follow College policies and guidelines.
*Must be able to multi-task numerous requests, diverse priorities, due dates and timelines while complying with College policy and guidelines.
*Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
*Ability to review and assess quantitative data.
*Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands and projects.
Required Education:
*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Preferred Education:
*Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business Administration or Accounting from an accredited institution preferred.
Required Experience:
*Four (4) or more years of related work experience in IT purchasing, IT asset management, IT budgeting, or IT contract management required.
Preferred Experience:
*Higher Education work experience preferred.
*Experience using Ellucian’s Banner Finance module preferred.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
*CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM certifications from IAITAM preferred.
*State of Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification preferred.
*ITIL Foundations certification or higher preferred.
Note: This position has opportunity for limited remote work arrangements with appropriate approvals and in accordance with the policies, procedures, and needs of the College.
Salary Grade: 110
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
