Religious Studies and Theology. The Department of Religious Studies and Theology at Saint Mary’s College invites applications for a non-tenure track, one-year visiting assistant professor appointment for a teacher/scholar with a Ph.D. (ABD acceptable) in contemporary theology.
Teaching responsibilities include the introductory course, Religious Studies and Theology 101 (a broad introduction to the academic study of religion in the applicant’s field of expertise), and the second course requirement in the RLST department, ideally Catholic Faith and Life or Catholic Social Thought (other courses in contemporary theology are acceptable). The teaching load is 3:4, with two preps each semester.
