Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field required.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment required, preferably in healthcare; minimum 1 year of experience in sourcing passive candidates preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Strong knowledge of general human resources practices, including state and federal regulations related to employment. Working knowledge of effective recruiting/marketing strategies. Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems. Working knowledge of electronic reporting and communication systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Sources suitable candidates through various channels and builds and maintains a talent pool that can meet the health system’s current and future hiring needs. Co-develops and implements an effective sourcing strategy. Works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define talent needs. Promotes the health system when communicating on various platforms. Drafts and disburses appropriate communication to identified candidates. Tracks pre-defined metrics and reports on them to stakeholders.
Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisor.
Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
