Account Coordinator Job Description:

Rx4good is a fast-growing, well-respected virtual communications agency with expertise in oncology, women’s health, rare diseases, and immunology. We focus on patient advocacy and patient engagement and advise our clients on establishing partnerships with regional, national, and global nonprofit organizations to advance healthcare policies and practice. We are looking for an entry-level associate to provide support to our advocacy consultants for day-to-day account activities relating to our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Client Service and Project Management

• Proactively learn about our agency, our clients, and our approach to advocacy relations in order to grow as an effective team member.
• Manage client assignments and deliverables so they are completed with the highest quality, on time, and within budget.
• Demonstrate ability to re-prioritize workload when plans change to accommodate urgent client requests.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards our clients, our work and Rx4good colleagues. Seek to remain engaged, actively looking for new assignments and being responsive to client, account team and agency goals and needs.
• Support Rx4good team members to effectively execute for our clients, including:

Presentation Skills:

• Provide high-quality presentation materials: PowerPoint presentation decks, backgrounders on patient advocacy organizations, social media monitoring reports, infographics, invitation letters, templates, storytelling through ppt slides.
• Must be skilled in PowerPoint
• Provide quick turnaround when necessary
• Participate in client meetings, then edit and finalize ppt templates based on client requests.

Event Planning & Coordination:

• Manage logistics surrounding patient councils, advisory boards, and patient ambassador programs, both in-person and virtual meetings.
• Coordinate contracts for patient and caregiver engagement.
• Partner with external agencies in coordinating event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and meals.
• Requires knowledge of negotiation process in selecting vendors for client events.
• Ensure attention to detail in scheduling, contracting, communications with advocacy partners and follow up.
• Track reimbursement of expenses for meeting attendees as well as honorarium.
• Manage client attendance at major medical meetings such as ASCO, SABCS, AACR and ASH and surrounding rare disease meetings such as Global Genes and NORD. Assist with scheduling of meetings between advocacy groups and client.

Coordination of Client Research and Support

• Perform in-depth primary and secondary research to improve knowledge of the patient and caregiver experience with diverse diseases: review patient organization websites, annual reports, and social media.
• Manage and respond to ad hoc research requests across multiple and far-reaching health issues and topics.
• Maintain accurate records of data and information on Excel spreadsheets.
• Provide scheduling support for patient and caregiver ad boards and interviews. Attend meetings and interviews when necessary to take notes on participant perspectives and insights.
• Conduct social media monitoring, engagement, and reporting to support client advocacy relations activities.
• Manage the flow of client projects and track activities on monthly basis and remind team of deliverables.
• Track client patient advocacy organization membership benefits and provide metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferred, prior experience in healthcare and/or agency
• Bachelor’s degree in a basic or health science, public health, strategic communications, public relations or other related field
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• 1-2 years’ work experience post-graduation preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
