The Department of Psychology at Ripon College is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of
Psychology. The initial term of the position begins in August 2023.
Ph.D. or ABD in Psychology is required with the area
open but the ability to contribute to teaching in areas such as Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology, Social Psychology, and/or Health
Psychology. Applicants should expect to teach courses related to mental health such as Psychopathology, Theories of Personality and
Counseling, Health Psychology, and/or Social Psychology. Additionally, faculty will be involved with our core classes in General Psychology
and/or Research Design and Statistics sequence, and other areas directly related to the candidate’s background or interests.
Contributing to our innovative Catalyst program would also be expected. Teaching load is three classes per semester. Our small collegial
department and college are highly supportive of innovations in teaching and research with funding opportunities for summer research students
and support for curricular development.
The faculty at Ripon College, are a talented and dynamic group of teacher-scholars who work
closely with a diverse student population on capstone and undergraduate research projects, and participate in interdisciplinary
collaboration with one another on scholarship and creative activity. The faculty benefit from wide-ranging opportunities for support
including curriculum development grants, travel grants, scholarly/artistic grants, and colleague teaching grants. Successful applicants for
