Our HR Manager will work with a team of HR professionals. We are looking for a candidate that has a true generalist background in onboarding, recruiting, benefits, and HRIS maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day activities of the HR team as an essential service center to support the entire company.
• Collaborates with the HR team on initiatives, advises on next steps, and address questions or concerns, while mentoring to the team to grow and develop their skill set.
• Ensures all HR process are documented, and team is cross trained in all areas of HR.
• Effectively manages a dual role of protecting the company’s interests and strengthening the employer-employee relationship.
• Builds relationships across all levels of the organization while advising on company policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors company morale, assisting with disciplinary issues, makes resolution recommendations to management and conducts investigations when required.
• Works closely with the onboarding team and other departments to ensure an efficient, smooth, and pleasant on-boarding experience for all new hires.
• Strategizes with the recruiting team on recruitment plans in accordance with HR methodologies, labor laws, and needs of the company.
• Ensures job descriptions are completed and on record for every position.
• Oversees all aspects of benefits (health, wellness, perks, recognition, 401K, etc.) and is involved in the renewal process.
• Oversees all leave polices ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Oversees all HR related data and systems to ensure accuracy.
• Works closely with other departments to ensure an efficient offboarding process and collects data from exit interivews.
• Oversee the Perforamnce Management review process, ensuring managers are meeting with employees regularly to provide feedback, and annual reviews are completed thoroughly and timely.
• Track metrics that assess and monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.

Salary Range: $80K-90K

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth – Hybrid Work Schedule

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred
• At least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience supervising/evaluating staff
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements
• Demonstrated success and skills in multi-state HR administration.
• Strong employee relations skills including conducting investigations and coaching of front-line supervisors on related issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, and organizations.
• PC with Microsoft applications knowledge is required.
• Experience with prevailing wage payroll helpful
• Occasional travel up to 20% also is required.
