Provides financial, administrative, clerical, and customer support as part of the Customer Relations team. Maintains a high level of knowledge of all issues related to the rules, policies, and procedures relative to our billing processes, including ongoing collections of any outstanding accounts. Conducts all activities in a professional manner while working closely with the branch offices and the Corporate office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify and resolve validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, branch offices, and customers.
• Communicate and follow up effectively with sales team regarding customer information and accounts.
• Update customer files to ensure data accuracy.
• Reduce outstanding balance delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Post journal entries, as needed, for account write offs.
• Issue invoice corrections in accordance with company policy.
• Understands and educates customers on account terms.
• Work with internal departments to meet our customers’ needs.
• Post vendor payments on receivables.

Associates or a minimum of 3 years experience in accounting/customer service
