(Bilingual) Human Resources (HR) Specialist

The HR Specialist is a highly motivated individual with the ability to provide support to HR/Recruiting team and departments across the organization.

***This position is based on-site at our Irving/Freeport Distribution Center, Irving TX.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR personnel in all areas of HR
• Fulfillment of requests from managers with prior approval from HR Manager
• HR onboarding (I-9, background experience)
• NHO, coordinate and set up (polished presenter)
• File and organize paperwork for employee personnel files
• Understanding and working knowledge of HR guidelines as it relates to: EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, LOA, ADA
• Employee Relations- Tier 1 questions
• Knowledge of HR laws and HR compliance experience
• Administer pre-employment assessments and skill testing
• Other Human Resource duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• PHR certification, preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years HR related experience, required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), strongly preferred
• Distribution Center or Warehouse experience, strongly preferred
• Employee Relations working knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn other applications and programs as needed
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as well as work in a team environment
• Must be eligible to receive post hire Government background clearance
