The Financial Aid Technician II:
Performs revisions to student financial aid awards due to changes in enrollment status, requests for changes in award, and other special revision projects.
Reviews and analyzes loan, work-study, or grant reports in order to determine type and level of action needed to resolve data discrepancies or other problems.
Conducts individual and group loan debt counseling sessions, work study orientations, and general financial aid workshops for students.
May assist with data transmission for program areas such as loans, work-study, and grants. Interpersonal contacts include students, staff, faculty, public, other colleges, federal and state agencies and/or lenders. Incumbent performs technical financial aid processes on an independent basis subject to supervisory direction and review.

The first two steps of the range are: $43,310 and $44,610 per year. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.

Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for yourself, domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age. Partial tuition reimbursement for yourself at other accredited institutions (full-time employees only).
Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)

Incumbent may be required to work extended hours on an intermittent basis. Some evening and Saturday work is necessary on a rotational basis.
