Hospitality Account Executive

Summary

This position will be responsible for ensuring projects are organized and running smoothly. The coordination of hospitality product development projects includes quotation, drawings, swatches, samples, documentation, and customer service.

Description

• Support daily activities relating to contract account interaction, order processing, inventory allocation and management, phone communication, and project quoting
• Coordinate requests for custom products
• Follow up and track costs, drawings, swatches, and PALECEK samples
• Verify and ensure product specification sheets are complete and accurate
• Receive and document samples
• Maintain sample requisition log sheet
• Create production requests and spec sheets for in-house production
• Maintain approved color swatches ensuring vendor and overseas QC have signed copies
• Maintain the open quote log to include periodic follow-up with our customers
• Perform other duties as requested

Key Qualifications

· 2-3 years’ experience as a project coordinator or similar role

· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study or 3+ years of experience in a related field

· Highly motivated person with a strong work ethic

· Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Responsive and extremely strong customer service

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and populations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Operate in a professional office environment
• Moderate noise i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers and light traffic
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to work in a confined area
• Frequent work in a functioning warehouse environment
• Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
• Close vision requirements due to computer work
• Ability to see various shades of color
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 pounds unassisted
