O Employment Services Hiring for Payroll Administrative Assistant Job at Redding, CA Full Time

A local business is looking for their next payroll administrative assistant. This positions will provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance department by assisting payroll, accounting, and the Director of Finance with daily office needs. This is a full time, long term position located in Redding, CA.

• Efficient in using 10 key calculator

Benefits of the Payroll Administrative Assistant:
$20.00-$25.00 an hour, depending on experience

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrative Assistant:
1. Invoices for active clients

2. New hire files

3. Form I-9 (also file hard copy)

4. Termination files

5. Benefit files

6. Active and termination papers (loose papers)

Assist Payroll:

• Calculating timecards and misc. payroll tasks
• SaaShr changes and maintenance for clients
• Complete and return VOE’s
• Complete and return Garnishment Wage & Insurance Verifications
• Scan and name quarterly client tax files
• Prepare termination paperwork and final check
• Term employee out of Summit and SaaS

Assist Accounting:

• Filing AP, AR deposits, ACH transactions, and Company 10 client tax documents
• Process AP checks for mailing after signed by CEO
• Completing and printing reports for the 401k checks
• Prepare AR deposits for posting and remote deposit:
• Open checks, separate stub, total checks, stamp checks
• Print backup documentation and calculate if needed for the following:
• Benefits monthly invoice’s liability reports
• Inputting Benefit billed amounts into Summit
• Tax liability reports for quarterlies
• EDD and IRS (EFTPS) payments for quarterlies
• Match credit card receipts to bill to ensure we received from employees
• Print and match FedEx receipts for weekly invoice’s

Assist HR:

• Prepare and update labor posters for clients yearly
• Process Verification of Employments, EDD Benefit Audits, and Health and Human Services Forms
• Compose courier list for deliveries and gather checks for employee pick-ups
• Other administrative duties as needed
