We’re searching for someone whose passion is teaching others – not only to see when that mental lightbulb clicks on, but to help grow the people around them. You know how to communicate with everyone, and are told you do this better than people have seen. You’ve learned and actively adapt to different learning styles, observe people quickly and can pivot when a goal isn’t being met. Your daily responsibilities will be focused on delivering onsite training in our warehouse system to various levels of employees on an ongoing basis. The training you’ll be delivering is new, and will require a high level of observation, collaboration, and input. You’ll be continuously assessing training needs, helping create training materials to continue to improve, and teaching classes.

Our technical trainers need to have excellent presentation and communication skills, along with high tolerance for flexibility and ambiguity tied with a calm and patient demeanor. You’ll be helping employees learn new skills, advance their careers, and earn more as they continue to add certifications and training under their belt.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate training to all levels of employees in classroom micro training type sessions using various forms of media and hands-on evaluation styles.
• Provide training to employees on systems, policies, and procedures of the department(s), and train existing employees on new information or procedures.
• Facilitate learning programs, meetings, and events to transfer knowledge to employees within the organization.
• Maintain records for accurate certification details of each employee’s training levels.
• Perform administrative duties on the Learning Management System, including, but not limited to: scheduling, tracking of instructor-led training, creating materials and videos, managing users, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content.
• Co – design and develop learning content for gaps you observe that includes the use of media and technology to enhance participant experience and transfer of knowledge and skills.
• Maintain instructor-led course materials. Ensure materials are properly stored and versioned on appropriate sites.
• Prepare training schedules٫ classroom agendas, and training materials.
• Support all instructor-led training for new and current employees and leaders.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• 2+ years of previous teaching or training experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – we’ll be looking for these starting with your application.
• Self-driven and autonomous working style.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
• Warehouse and Logistics experience preferred.
• Teaching Experience is preferred.
