Support Fair Market Value (FMV) / Bona-fide Service Fee (BFSF) processes, systems and analytics in collaboration with business stakeholders, embodying Novartis values and behaviors, to support all US Managed Markets Finance Governance activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and improving processes to remain in compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations on fair market value and bona-fide assessments.
• Support Manager/Associate director with compliance processes and systems for Novartis operating divisions in the U.S. pertaining to fee for service arrangements with Commercial entities (e.g., Specialty Pharmacies, Wholesalers/Distributors, PBMs, GPOs, HUBs, Copay vendors, etc.)
• Assist in maintaining collaborative platforms and shared drive with all processes, business rules and documents relating to BFSF/FMV activities
• Assist with maintaining all Work Process Documents (WPDs) and remain in compliance with all pertinent WPDs
• Ensure BFSF/FMV compliance with the Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) requirements, including documentation and records retention
• Work with Associate Director/Manager(s) to provide communications and training as needed across the organization

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-Year University degree required
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or economics preferably within Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
• Experience conducting financial analysis/valuations, preferably fair market value analysis of healthcare business, compensation, and various service agreements for management planning and regulatory compliance purposes
• Strong customer orientation with ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
• Proactive mind-set and ability to execute multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong communication and influencing skills with an ability to challenge status quo and propose alternatives
Desirable Requirements:
• Degree subject area in Business, Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree, MBA or CPA a plus
• Understanding of vendor contracts

Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $76,320.00 and $114,480.00 / year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
