The Manager – Data Analytics is responsible for the development and maintenance of the sales and distribution module at NPC. This position supports the business at a tactical and operational level and acts as the team SAP super user and trainer. The role is accountable for data integrity of the master data within the SAP and B-2-B systems. This role also supports all of Trade Operations & Trade Order Management with all system issues, enhancements, and daily operations.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manages the set up and maintenance of master data within the sales and distribution system and B2B portal for NPC and Cell & Gene.
• Acts as the SME and liaison with onshore and offshore IT developers to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for testing protocols and validating new applications, changes, and enhancements to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Understand and review functional specifications.
• Prepares detailed business analysis for system changes, outlining problems, opportunities, and business requirements.
• Creates, generates, and runs reports for internal departments including legal requests which entails rationalizing massive amounts of data.
• Webmaster experience to maintain and publish to the B-2-B web portal and Novartis Customer Connection
• Participates in cross-functional teams on special projects and act as the liaison with IT and IT council meetings. Oversee the integration of multiple systems and the downstream impacts.
• Back up Manager of Compliance in overseeing control systems for department compliance. (i.e. SOX, ARCOS, DEA Audits, SOP’s, HSE) creating rigor and conducting audits.
This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ USA and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4-year degree; degree subject area in Business or related preferred
• 5+ years of experience in sales and distribution
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
• 5+ years of SAP experience, with 2+ years in Super User capacity
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience required
• Strong working knowledge of solution design
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good problem solving, decision making, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and desire to work both independently and within a team coupled with a sense of urgency
• Strong working knowledge of DEA & FDA regulations relating to pharmaceutical industry preferred

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $107,200.00 and $160,800.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
