The Scientific Data and Products (SDP) group within Research Infomatics builds and applies excellence in product and data management to continuously improve the impact and value of software and data to BR. We aim to deliver intuitive, intentional, and integrated software solutions to enable modern data driven drug discovery.
This key role within Scientific Data and Products will enhance the value delivery of our Research Informatics Products Portfolio by optimizing operations and ensuring a reliable products platform for our scientists.
The role is a blend of leading people and evolving product operations excellence in your team.
Key responsibilities:
•Lead, develop, and mentor a group of experienced product operations managers
•Establish a shared vision with the Product operations team and position Product Operations as one of the three critical pillars in the product matrix
•Evolve the strategy and framework for product operations
•Foster an operational excellence mindset ensuring that our products are operated in a reliable, secure and cost-efficient way
•Strengthen the relationship with the other teams in Research Informatics, internal stakeholders and our external partners
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400 and $249,600/ year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

You thrive on working collaboratively in a complex life science environment.
Essential Requirements
•Need 10+ years of experience and at least 5+ years of leadership experience
•Graduate degree or equivalent in life sciences (or MBA with bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in life science)
•Experience presenting/speaking at a senior management level with a proven track record of effectively communicating complex initiatives
Desirable Requirements
•3+ years of pharma experience in drug discovery
•Creativity in identifying, encouraging, and accelerating innovative solutions
•Courage to challenge the status quo, to experiment, and to take smart risks
•Creating a culture of empowerment, learning and mutual support
•Very good communication skills
•Having a clear and visible set of values and acting with integrity
